We understand that many contractors, builders and architects already have installation teams in place. Our hardwood windows supply only service delivers precision-manufactured joinery directly to your site — anywhere in the UK.
For those who need a complete service, our experienced installation teams are available to fit all timber windows and doors to the same exacting standard we apply in the workshop.

Working Directly with Architects & Specifiers
We work regularly with architects, heritage specialists, planning consultants and main contractors on projects where accuracy and detail are non-negotiable.
Our manufacturing systems are built for the trade:
- CAD-ready — we manufacture all windows and doors from scratch and work directly from your design brief or CAD drawings
- CE certified — fully accredited products essential for building regulations approval
- Specification sheets available on request for all products
- Listed buildings and conservation areas — we have extensive experience producing windows and doors that meet planning requirements, without compromising on thermal or security performance
Timber Species Available for Specification
We work exclusively with premium hardwoods, selected for their durability, stability and appearance in external joinery applications:
- Oak — traditional grain, exceptional strength, suited to both heritage and contemporary schemes
- Sapele — fine, consistent grain with a rich tone, widely specified for high-end residential projects
- Utile — fine-grained West African hardwood, dimensionally stable and ideal for larger frame profiles
All timbers are sourced from sustainable suppliers and finished to your chosen stain or paint colour.

All products are manufactured to your specification. Non-standard sizes, complex profiles and period detailing are handled as standard.

A First Class company, professional in every way. They made me a custom window for my old cottage. We started with my pictures of the old one with outline dimensions. They then produced excellent drawings of the replacement for approval, and finally made a superb job of the final unit. I visited to collect and was very impressed with every aspect of this company. The window was fitted today with ease. I commend them highly and will definitely use them again for more custom specials for my old cottage.

So pleased with our roof lantern in our new extension, helpful staff, excellent communication, very efficient, very fair price and most of all fantastic quality. Our builders and joiners put together the DIY lantern and commented on what a quality piece of kit it was. I looked around many companies to find the right price and quality and countryhardwood/prestige roof lanterns always came out on top. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to have a roof lantern.

From the moment we placed our order for bifold doors and large window, Mark responded to all my email queries (there were many!) and provided us with a price we were unable to find anywhere else. I used Country Hardwood to design and manufacture replacement windows and doors for my home. They provided an excellent design service discussing all options available. The windows and doors are all of a high quality, made to measure and fitted perfectly. Mark provided an excellent after sales service, replacing a few incorrect ironmongery components and has provided additional advice on redecoration specification for future maintenance. I would definitely recommend Country Hardwood to anyone requiring bespoke windows.

We recently bought a house with some beautiful bifold doors originally installed by Country Hardwood back in 2013. One of the rubber gaskets between the doors had developed a small split, which my toddler enthusiastically helped enlarge, until it definitely needed replacing.
I contacted Country Hardwood to enquire about purchasing replacement gaskets. To my surprise, they sent enough gasket material to replace all the gaskets across all three doors, and didn’t charge me a penny. Not only that, the gaskets they sent were an improved design. All this for doors installed over 10 years ago!

Really happy with my whole experience with Country Hardwood. Instead of the typical bifold doors I wanted a more traditional look with 3 sets of French doors on my extension. Looked at UPVC doors and none looked authentic enough. Got a very competitive quote from Mark and assistance with the design. Final product was better than expected, had installed for several years now and not had any issues at all and in fact I have had issues where I installed some UPVC doors. Builder was adamant I shouldn’t go with wooden doors as he said I would be pulling them out in a couple of years, as long as I look after them I can see them staying for a long time. Highly recommend. Thanks.
