Timber Front Doors

I am a commercial property developer based in Jersey and I use Country Hardwood to supply all my timber doors and windows. I have always found Mark and the team to be very helpful and accommodating. I work on historical and listed buildings so the doors and windows I require are far from standard including glazed arches, stable doors, under/over size doors, sash and casement windows etc. and Country Hardwood have always been able to meet my requirements. Mark is happy to deliver the windows to an onward shipping company and refund the VAT upon receipt of the shipping certificate which makes them very competitive compared to local prices. A First Class company, professional in every way. They made me a custom window for my old cottage. We started with my pictures of the old one with outline dimensions. They then produced excellent drawings of the replacement for approval, and finally made a superb job of the final unit. I visited to collect and was very impressed with every aspect of this company. The window was fitted today with ease. I commend them highly and will definitely use them again for more custom specials for my old cottage.

So pleased with our roof lantern in our new extension, helpful staff, excellent communication, very efficient, very fair price and most of all fantastic quality. Our builders and joiners put together the DIY lantern and commented on what a quality piece of kit it was. We recently bought a house with some beautiful bifold doors originally installed by Country Hardwood back in 2013. One of the rubber gaskets between the doors had developed a small split, which my toddler enthusiastically helped enlarge, until it definitely needed replacing.

I contacted Country Hardwood to enquire about purchasing replacement gaskets. To my surprise, they sent enough gasket material to replace all the gaskets across all three doors, and didn’t charge me a penny. Not only that, the gaskets they sent were an improved design. All this for doors installed over 10 years ago!

Really happy with my whole experience with Country Hardwood. Instead of the typical bifold doors I wanted a more traditional look with 3 sets of French doors on my extension. Looked at UPVC doors and none looked authentic enough. Got a very competitive quote from Mark and assistance with the design. Final product was better than expected, had installed for several years now and not had any issues at all and in fact I have had issues where I installed some UPVC doors. Builder was adamant I shouldn’t go with wooden doors as he said I would be pulling them out in a couple of years, as long as I look after them I can see them staying for a long time.
